I made this "Baby it's Cold Outside" sweater to give to a woman who is pregnant and was recently diagnosed with cancer. She isn't starting cancer treatment until after the baby is born. She is having a boy. I've wanted to make baby stuff (other than preemie items). This was an excuse! It's different making baby items than preemie items. Preemie items can be emotionally draining for me.
I love making BICOs. I have made about six at least, I think (most w/ matching hats and some w/ booties). They're so fun to make. I'm sorry to hear about your friends' cancer. I hope the chemo will get rid of it all for her. My stepdad started chemo; but he never finished it.
